For an exhilerating, all over, body experience, it makes a great bath and body wash (dilution rates are actually printed in itty bitty print on the bottle along with alot of other information about ingredients, and that fact that everything in the bottle is natural and fair trade.  You even find out where the botanical elements were harvested.  The bottle reads like war and peace if you happen to have a magnifying glass....or you can take my word that it is a great cleanser, all natural, harkens back to things that our grandparents and great grandparents used.  I have used it in pump bottles on the bath sink for quick touch ups...Kids love the scent, so I think that soap is actually used in the handwashing process.  And a little bit goes a long way in terms of lathering.  The peppermint is so cooling in the shower on a hot day....and you feel so squeaky clean afterwards.  It is gentle enough to use daily.  My son even uses it instead of shampoo and says that it prevents the dry skin flaky embarassment on his scalp.  The price is excellent (especially as a little goes a long way) and at the grocery store where I purchase mine, two sizes of bottles are available:  8 and 16 oz at about $4.99 and $7.99 respectively...Compared to alot of the concoctions out there for skin care which have multi chemicals that nobody can pronounce let alone identify..it seems like a real bargain.   Interestingly enough, you can also use this stuff for delicate hand washable items...like maybe the pantyhose-(who needs a sachet anymore in the lingerie drawer)  I have even used it on the dogs when they get to smelling a bit too canine.  Castile soap is very gentle but effective, and I was even reading an article that states it can help with the treatment of mange in animals.   How can you go wrong.  I am all for products that allow me to de clutter the linen closet and limit the number of things in my cart at the store, and this is definitely one of them...I am still finding creative ways to make use of this wonderful soap.

there is also a tea tree oil formula that I am really fond of...kind of the holistic approach to dandruff flakes, and really great when the mosquitoes have been busy biting at your ankles....
