Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap Review Summary

Reviewers like Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap because it is all natural, vegan, and organic. This soap has 18 uses so you may never need a personal care product again! But be warned, our reviewers find it makes a much better shower partner than a shampoo or toothpaste. Still, this tingly soap is inexpensive and versatile - if you can find it. Apparently this unique soap is not widely available. Check out all the hand and body soaps reviews. There are several for every taste and in every price range!

My wife and I share our home with many four-footed furry critters.........dogs and cats. Fleas can be a problem and addressing that problem with the use of toxic chemicals is not an option for us. The use of these chemicals can later create severe to deadly health problems for our pets. If you feel the same way as we do, but need an effective way to rid your pets of fleas, then please try Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castile Soap. We use the liquid form to bathe our pets. This natural product generates sufficient suds to cover your pet. The secret of the flea control is that fleas CANNOT tolerate peppermint...

Peace & Love
An icon of the '60s and '70s, Dr. Bronner embraced an "all-one" philosophy of peace and love. His products are all-natural, organic, ecologically friendly and promote Fair Trade and sustainability.

Dr. Bronner's Tingles All Over !
Dr. Bronner's pure castile peppermint soap is highly concentrated. You can buy it by the bottle, or by the gallon, at local health food stores. A shower with this soap will not be forgotten. There are some places on your body which, when exposed to Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, will cause a reaction in your eyebrows, as they suddenly shoot skyward. (How's...

I love to try different skin care products.  When I read about a product that had 18 different uses, I knew I had to check it out.  I ordered a 4 fluid ounce bottle and decided to take Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap for an extensive test drive!

This product is a transparent, yellowish liquid that resembles olive oil.  It contains coconut oil, olive oil, hemp oil, jojoba oil, and peppermint oil, among other things.  The fragrance really seems to be just peppermint which is very pleasant and refreshing.

The manufacturer claims that there are more than 18 uses for Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap but...

For an exhilerating, all over, body experience, it makes a great bath and body wash (dilution rates are actually printed in itty bitty print on the bottle along with alot of other information about ingredients, and that fact that everything in the bottle is natural and fair trade.  You even find out where the botanical elements were harvested.  The bottle reads like war and peace if you happen to have a magnifying glass....or you can take my word that it is a great cleanser, all natural, harkens back to things that our grandparents and great grandparents used.  I have used it in pump bottles...

Ah, good 'ol Dr. Bronner. If you have never been introduced to his products, the Peppermint Liquid Soap would be a good place to start.

First, if you're concerned about your health and the environment, you're gonna love this product as all oils and essential oils used are certified organic. The plastic bottle used is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics. Aside from that, when possible the rest of the ingredients are bought through fair trade.

According to Dr. Bronner's website, peppermint oil is a mild stimulant so expect it to revitalize your mind and awaken your senses. (I know a good...

I've used Dr. Bronner's liquid soap for a long time. Initially, I had bought two 32 ounce bottles of the soap (one in peppermint and the other in almond). They have dozens of uses and in addition to that, it's a good value per ounce. Both of those bottles lasted me about a year and a half because I didn't need to use a lot when I was cleaning. Usually a capful works to do the job. I only use if for cleaning, not for skin care or for a shampoo because I have sensitive skin and dry hair and it could be a little harsh on my sensitive skin. When I used it as a face wash, it made my face feel really... review »

Dr. Bronner (and not just the peppermint kind) is not only organic, but comes in several other types/natural scents. Since I'm allergic to so many things, and make my own soap and many creams and such, this is wonderful!

We buy not only the peppermint (probably my husband's favorite), but also the baby mild (unscented), as well as the Cherry Almond, the Eucalyptus, the Lavender and since they've come out with two more (rose and orange), we'll be purchasing them as well.

I've used Dr. Bronner's products for a long while and also respect the family's standards and commitment to excellency, which...

I don't use the Peppermint Dr Bronners.  Personally I use the Baby (unscented) for bath and body, and the Tea Tree for dishes and other cleaning.  I love this stuff.  At first I didn't, because I was using WAY too much.  I now use a ratio of no more than 1 of soap to 4 of water.  We use a foaming dispenser now which makes it so we can use even less soap to water and still get the benefits of the soap.  What takes getting used to is that it really is *soap* and not detergent, which is what almost all commercial "soap" actually is - including shampoos.  We use it on our skin in the shower... review »

This is the best soap money can buy. I have searched for so long the perfect natural chemical free safe for the environment soap. Every time you clean with this the smell lingers on all day. That is something most soaps wont do. You can brush your teeth with it too. It's great for mopping the floors the smell again lingers on all day in the house. And for ladies that use washable period pads this soap is the only one soap that quickly takes out the blood stains. this soap is incredible! I can't say enough.

Dr. Bronner's is the best soap -- for the environment and for your skin.  I prefer the Hemp and Lavender variety because I find the Peppermint dries my skin out a bit.  I will never go back to using regular soap or body wash again.  I use it to wash my dog also!

Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps have been a mainstay in natural food and health food stores, with good reason. It's a true soap rather than a mix of synthetics that make foam and strip one's skin of all natural oils, making it a much gentler choice for any skin type.

The peppermint is especially fun. I've always loved the tingle of peppermint essential oil, and Dr. Bronner's is perfectly touched with the organic essence. Not only is it a very kind Good Morning to yourself, but it's great anytime you need reviving as well as a shower. Aromatherapists often use peppermint essential oil as a refreshing...

I'm so happy to review this product!  Dr. Bronners Peppermint liquid soap is a lifesaver!  I discovered it a few years ago & keep finding new &exciting things to clean with it.  I think peppermint is the most popular scent, as it is usually what you see in stores.  Even trader joes carries it.  They use certifies organic oils in the soaps too!  This is one REALLY minty soap!  If used in the shower, it leaves you super cool & tingly!  It can be used as toothpaste as well, although i prefer traditional toothpaste better, but it is great for travel or camping since it can be used for face,...

Dr. Bronner's soap is amazing! I first used it about 10 years ago, and recently rediscovered it. The big bottle is a concentrated formula that you dillute with water to make it go a very long way. It has peppermint oil that makes your whole body tingle and cool, and your lungs feel as if they've opened up.

I like to use it in the morning to help pick me up if I'm tired, or even if not. It is also great to use because it is fair trade (promotes sustainability & not just out to make money), made of vegan ingredients, and in a post-recycled bottle that is able to be recycled again. All of Bronner's...
