Dr. Bronner (and not just the peppermint kind) is not only organic, but comes in several other types/natural scents. Since I'm allergic to so many things, and make my own soap and many creams and such, this is wonderful!

We buy not only the peppermint (probably my husband's favorite), but also the baby mild (unscented), as well as the Cherry Almond, the Eucalyptus, the Lavender and since they've come out with two more (rose and orange), we'll be purchasing them as well.

I've used Dr. Bronner's products for a long while and also respect the family's standards and commitment to excellency, which they've certainly acheived. With the addition of their Hemp Seed Oil (also organic) in the shampoos, they're even better for your hair and since it's an all around soap, it can also be used on the entire body.

Cleans, smells great and leaves no scummy soap residue.

I couldn't recommend this any higher!

I wouldn't say this is inexpensive, but I WILL say it's very worth it - look for savings online or to read more, go right to Dr. Bronner's website and also sign up for their newsletter.

It's good soap and non-irritating, which also matters to me. For looking online, try frontier natural products co-op or the dr bronner site online - if offline in a store, most health/organic types stores and even herbal shops carry it.

Thanks, I'll have to look into this.

Thanks, will do, no -- I don't think we get that channel! I forgot one kind that we also use - his Tea Tree liquid. I'm sure his bar soaps are good too - I just make mine instead so I don't use them.
Thanks, Telpher.

I've only used the liquid - one bottle lasts forever.
There's a really great doco about the real Dr. Bronner, that runs on Sundance channel - you might like to catch it. Fascinating guy.
