Mild, but effective

I generally consider myself a budget buyer but Dr. Bronner's products are well worth their price. Although I personally prefer the peppermint variety, this soap packs the same cleaning power but without the enjoyable tingle (or sting) of peppermint. The only "complaint," I have is that it may dry my skin out, although it was a particularly cold, dry winter, so it may not be the fault of the soap.

Multi-purpose soap!

This one bottle can be used for a variety of purposes around the home! It is a gentle formula with organic and pure ingredients, so I feel safe using the product for my entire family. My oldest had very dry and sensitive skin as a baby and I could use this without causing her to break out. There is no overpowering scent, just a light soap smell. It is a concentrated product so only a small amount is needed which means that the bottle lasts for a very long time. I use this product daily and recommend it to anyone. Performance I use this not only for body products but also for cleaning around the home. The performance has always been superb for every area that I have used it for. Scent There is no overpowering scent just a very light soap smell which is good for babies or those that are sensitive to stronger scents. This also makes it good for cleaning without having to smell the strong chemical smells.

Perfect soap for every occasion

Dr Bronner's soaps can be used from head to toe. From shampoo, tooth paste, face and body cleaner, then on to removing the most stubborn oils and grease. The baby version is unscented so one can add personal essential oils or even favored commercial scents. Performance Great for removing outdoor allergens before they cause effect - especially poison ivy. Scent None, so no offense or add your own. Perfect for a fresh clean feeling and smell.

Great Soap! You won't regret it.

This is a great baby wash! It is just hard to find in local stores.I feel safe using this on my 6 week old baby. It calms her, no rashes, no reactions, and keeps the skin moist. There aren't chemicals in the soap which means it is safer than other brands of soap. Stay away from Johnson's soap because it is full of sulfates and other drying chemicals. My only complaint is that it is too hard to find in stores and expensive, but it is does last a lot longer than other bottles. I did first get Dr. Bronner's products of the result of winning a basket at an event for a local pre-school. They donated a huge basket of items for the event and I was lucky enough to win. Performance This works great! We enjoy it and it gets the baby cleaned. We are a HUGE fan of all Dr. Bronner's products. We use a lot of this soap after winning a basket that was donated to a charity event. Scent This smells great and not chemically like other brands. All of the Dr. Bronner's soaps have a natural smell to them. I enjoy the scent and glad it doesn't have chemicals in it.

Natural soap

This soap really does do a proper job cleaning you body. Your skin feels nice and clean without any leftover soap clinging to your body. I like the smell of this soap it's mild smelling and not over powering. It seems to work fine with skin rashes. I like that it is natural. Well in my sons case it does not burn him or make him itch. He will even shampoo with it. Careful it will sting your eyes. His hair is cut short so no hair problems. I like how it feels in my hands. It has a rich smooth feel. A little goes a long way. Otherwise you will be rinsing your body off for a while. I also use it as a hand soap. Why spend the extra money for a handsoap when you have this soap on hand. I once dropped some soap on the tile floor and found it to be slippery. So be careful in the shower. I find that if you do not rinse well you will itch. I have been using this soap for years without any regrets. The price does vary greatly from store to store.

The thing that I love about Dr. Bronner's Mild Liquid Baby Soap more than anything else is the fact that this soap has so many uses and it's so much better for you and your children than those other soaps. If you choose to use it as a shampoo and body wash you must remember this product is strong, so a little goes a long way! Of course I wouldn't use this for myself, as a have very long hair and it would be much more work to use, but I love this product for my babies, since they don't have as much hair. It works well as a household cleaner for basic cleaning like counters and stuff too so I will use this when we run out of our cleaners and I don't want to run out to the store to purchase more at the moment. This soap leaves out a lot of the chemicals and while the smell isn't the best, it is much better than my children breathing the chemicals and toxins in found in other cleaners and baby products. While it isn't cheap, like I said it does go a long way. I would whole heartedly recommend this product to anyone, especially those with sensitive skin like my son!

Pretty good but not great

I've used. Doctor Bronner's for years. I love their other formulas. I got this for my son when he was a baby. I wanted to love it as much as I love their others but I just don't. The smell is fine. It's not very strong since it is made for babies and sensitive skin. It really aggravated my sons eczema. It feels very, very drying. So much so that I really couldn't use it for him. No problem, I thought. I'll just use it in my foaming pump dispenser for washing hands. I've learned that Dr. Bronner's is perfect for foaming dispensers. I used it for less than a day before realizing that it was really drying my hands out. I was able to finish using what I'd already mixed but I pretty much had to use lotion every time I washed my hands. I didn't bother mixing up the rest of it. I gave it away to someone who didn't have sensitive skin. One great thing about this is how long it lasts! You need a very, very small amount so one bottle lasts an extended amount of time.

One of my favorites!

I am so glad I discovered Dr. Bronner's line of liquid castile soaps a few years ago. I love having the option to have a super mild, unscented version to lean back on when you are dealing with super sensitive skin or just want the mildness when using on children or with children in your household (if you are using it for cleaning purposes). There are so many uses for a bottle of Dr. Bronner's mild liquid baby soap, and it really goes a long way regardless of how you use it. With so many applications, if it does not work well for one thing, there is bound to be something else, or another area, that it works superbly for. Perhaps the price is more than other castile soaps on the market, but the ingredients are straight forward and the product will last a fairly significant amount of time under normal circumstances. It makes great foaming soap as well, and really lasts a long time if that is the only way that the bottle is used!

Skin softening, no irritating fragrances, 100% organic, amazing!

This is a wonderful product. My skin was getting all red, chapped, irritated and dry - unbeknownst to me it was because of fragrance allergies and sensitivities to the harsh chemicals in conventional products. I switched to Dr. Bronner's unscented and voila! calm skin. significantly less dryness. smooth legs. It comes concentrated, so it's best to dilute it, to keep from drying out your skin. 50-50 it's great as a shower gel/face wash. 60-40 (the 60 is water) dilution as a hand wash. There are no sulfates, so it foams less than conventional washes and it takes a few days to lose that visual programming. Has a very gentle smell when using, but it rinses off, leaving you with soft, unscented skin. Perfect! This is a must-have in my home. Also comes in a bar formulation, and that's supposed to be just a tad more moisturizing.
