My husband is very picky about the deodorants he uses. They have to be totally unscented and they have to come in a roll on container. Me, I'm not so picky. I like experimenting with different brands and scents, and some are keepers while others get tossed. One deodorant I am not tossing is Dove Smooth Cashmere Deodorant and Antiperspirant. This product comes in a 2.6 ounce white plastic container, and claims to have moisturizers (that claim reminds me of the Dove commercials for face soap, which also claim to have moisturizers). I've never given it much thought, but I guess moisturizers for the sensitive underarm area isn't a bad idea! I like the fact that this product contains both an antiperspirant and a deodorant, because it not only keeps me dry but it keeps body odor at bay. The product itself is a solid white material with a cashmere soft feel (hence the name!). It glides on easily and smoothly and has a nice soft scent that I personally find quite appealing. It does interfere with certain perfumes, so if you are a big perfume wearer I would recommend trying an unscented deodorant. Many deodorants today contain aluminum as an active ingredient, and this one is no different. Dove claims this product will protect for 24 hours, and I can attest to the fact that it provides all day protection. Not only does it keep me dry, but it keeps me smelling fresh. The one drawback I see is the fact that this solid can leave marks on black sweaters, so I have to be very careful when I am getting dressed in the morning. Otherwise, it is a fine product that I would certainly purchase again.

Dove Ultimate Clear in Smooth Cashmere works great. It goes on smooth and clear. It can be worn with the sexiest of black dresses without any worry. The scent is wonderful. Not perfumy powerful, yet, not too mild. It has a long staying power so you can go from dropping kids at school, to work, to dinner, to whatever, without having to reapply. As a busy mom, I don't have time to be worrying about my antiperspirant/deodorant. I just need it to work from beginning of day, until the very end. Anyone who is looking to change their current brand can rest assured that Dove will be the right choice for you. Heck, my husband even ran out of his once and used mine and it worked well for him too! Not perfect for men, but when you're in a bind, it can work for him too!

I was used to using Dove Go Fresh scents, but last time Dove was on sale I decided to give Smooth Cashmere a try. I am glad I did! The fragrance is very light and fresh. You almost feel relaxed just sniffing it. When you roll it on, it is smooth. I like the moisturizer in it, as with other Dove deodorant products. From a cost basis, I find Dove Ultimate deodorant to be a bit steeply priced on the shelf. However, Unilever has deals matched with coupons frequently enough to bring this deodorant down to one eighth of the price or less. That is when I stock up on it: I get enough to last about 6 months or so. I've enjoyed this strategy as I've had the opportunity to try out several different fragrances. I recommend this deodorant. It works (for me) at keeping odor away and smells good.

I'm the kind of person who loves to try different products if I can get them at a discount or with coupons, but deoderant is something I will not compromise on.  When I'm looking to buy an antiperspirant, the number one quality I look for is that IT WORKS.  I've consistently found that most Dove products seem to deliver well on their promise, and this deoderant is no exception.  I've actually tried all the varieties it comes in, and they all work well so you don't have body odor.  I do like the scent of this one the best though.  It is a light, flowery scent that you don't find in many deoderants.  This is a pretty good value, because I can usually get it with a coupon and I try to find it on sale too.  Occasionally, the stores will have a double or triple pack, which makes the price per unit lower.  It lasts quite awhile too. The only con I have is that even as it is supposed to be clear going on, I *do* end up with some white cakey stuff on my skin (might just be the interaction of the ingredients on my skin, not sure).  Overall, I would highly recommend you try this scent because it is very light, fresh and elegant.

I have tried quite a few deodorants, especially since I am a rather busy twenty-something who is constantly on-the-go.  Of all of the deodorants I have tried, I have to say that I am extremely impressed with Dove's Ultimate Clear Antiperspirant Deodorant in the smooth cashmere scent.  Since I tend to be a rather average glistener, didn't you know that we ladies don't sweat - we glisten, I was not looking for too much protection, but I did want some moderate protection at least.  This stuff is pretty great, and I do not say that all that often in my reviews.  With all of Dove's commercials and everything, I could not help but try this stuff out, especially since it was supposed to be gentle on the skin while keeping my underarms dry.  I have to say that the deodorant did just that.  It kept my underarms dry while also being gentle on my skin.  I also noticed that it did not rub off on my clothing like some other deodorants tend to do.  It also seemed to reduce the amount of irritation from shaving as well.  Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

I usually used Secret deodrant, but I could never find any good deals.  I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and I found coupons and a deal for Dove deodrant so I tried it.  I'm really happy with the scent and that it keeps me dry.  However, with most deodrants, you need to re-apply at least once in the middle of the day because it doesn't last all day long.  I also really like the way Dove designed their bottles of deodrant.  It's very soothing and stylish. I love that Dove offers a wide variety of coupons for their deodrant, it helps when you don't have to spend a lot of money on personal care items.  But overall the Ultimate deodrant is my favorite deodrant now.  I love the wide variety of scents and I can't wait to try each and every one of hem.  The affordability and dryness of this deodrant makes it a keeper.  I've had other brands fall out on me, but Dove is secure and stays in place until the very last bit is left

I have been using Dove soap for years, so I was excited when Dove came out with deodorant a few years ago.  I have been using it ever since it first came out.  I love Dove deodorant because it goes on smoothly and keeps me dry.  I typically do not sweat a lot under my arms, but I am guaranteed not to with this deodorant.  I wear either the "original clean" or the "smooth cashmere" scents.  The "original clean" is a ... well ... clean scent!  It smells light and neutral and smells like you just got out of the shower.  The "smooth cashmere" scent is a light, mild, floral scent.  Both are very light and not overpowering, which I think is extremely important.  I can never smell my deodorant unless I really try to!  Dove deodorant is invisible - never rubbing off on your clothes and leaving embarrassing white stains. I like that you can slowly click up the dial and turn it up as you need more.  You can also turn it back down, which is also nice.  With Dove deodorant, I always feel confident that my pits are protected!

I am review Dove Ultimate Clear Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Smooth Cashmere. It very nice and does the job but the smells is horrbile. I ended up throwing it away because I could stand the Deodorant. So smell it before you buy it because to me it is horrible.

**The Verdict:**  I seriously would rather have body odor than use this deodorant again.  It worked OK but the scent was awful. **Just the Facts:**  I received a sample of Dove Ultimate Clearn Anti-Perspirant Deodorant in the mail.  I have no idea why as I did not request it.  I'm also not a huge fan of Dove products in general but decided to give it a try anyway.  After all the Dove deodorant commercials I've been seeing about the pit moisturizing properties and lack of white stuff on dark shirts, I wanted to see for myself and since it was free, I gave it a shot. Well the first day that I used this deodorant was fairly uneventful.  I smelled it in the container and it smelled OK.  I little flowery for my taste but OK.  It applied in what seemed like a nice thin coat and felt fairly moisturizing.  I stayed dry all day which isn't saying much as all I did was sit on the couch working.  The floral scent was highly annoying.  Same thing next day only at one point one pit itched so scratched it and ended up with deodorant goop under my fingernails.  Gross.  The floral scent of the deodorant bothered me all day and permeated my shirt.  Third day was the real test.  Friday was my holiday band/choir concert.  The event coordinator grossly oversold the event and the place was packed to the point where if someone would have called the fire department the whole place would have been closed down and no concert would have taken place.  As if this wasn't bad enough, my elderly parents were inside that madhouse and I was worried about them and the old people who were dropping like flies in there from the heat.  While the choir was doing their thing I was out in the lobby trying to keep things under control (WHY I don't know, but I felt bad that everyone was so miserable and everything was going so wrong).  So for about 2 hours I was hauling chairs around, trying to find places for people to sit, helping people overwhelmed by the heat get out of there, getting cold drinks and cloths for people, helping people to their cars and directing them to local hospitals.  In the heat we played our songs, I got thru all my solos, put all those chairs away, and got my parents the heck out of there. I was impressed that I didn't stink after all of that as I did a lot of running around and was very aggravated and nervous for about 4 hours.  Dove kept me fairly dry although not as dry as my favorite Avon deodorant.  I was still a bit sticky under the arms and the heat multiplied that godawful floral scent tenfold and I had to shower the minute I got home even though I had guests at my house after the concert.  There was no white residue on my shirt but everything I had been wearing that night absolutely reeked of that hideous floral scent.  I actually had to wash the shirt twice to get the smell out.  **Closing Argument:**  After three uses I'm throwing this product away. The scent is horrible and I cannot stand it and it did not keep me as dry as it should have.  Two tiny stars.
