I have sensitive skin, and when I use deodorant after shaving, I always get itchy bumps. Not with Dove ultimate! I love this product because I have no skin irritation after using it. Unfortunately, it's been hard to find lately. When I find it, I am stocking up!

This is a fairly nice deodorant and antiperspirant. I prefer gels though because of the white residue left by solids but I got this deodorant cheap with a coupon so I thought that I would give it a try. The smell isn't that great. It smells kind of weird florally to me. I prefer more sweet fruity type stuff but this is more floral and "something else" smelling which I can't exactly describe. It doesn't smell horrible and I don't stink with it but I just prefer other scents over this one I guess. It does a good job of moisturizing my underarm skin and doesn't burn like gel when you put it on after shaving. It does leave lots of white marks on my dark shirts in the armpit area which is really hard to get out even after washing them. This is a downside and unacceptable to me so I will not buy it again. Overall it does work well and prevents sweat and smell during my busy work day in the ER.

Finding just the right anti-perspirant deodorant is difficult enough, but all these options out there these days make it even harder.  Dove offers several of their own.  This one is labeled as the ultimate beauty care with moisturizers.   Not sure how much more moisturizers this anti-perspirant deodorant has over others, not sure how much better this one controls underarm wetness than others, not sure if it does any better for in a 24 hour period with the protections.   I would consider this a comparable anti-perspirant deodorant to nearly any other on the market.  It does go on smoothly, it does not seem to leave any marks or white flakes.  The protection is there from the feeling of perspiration.     I do like the smell, I get so tired of the flowery scents out there and this one is difficult to place, but it is not super over strong after it has been applied.   The light radiance seems to be in reference to the scent of it.   I personally use suave on a regular basis but after trying this product (which I received a sample of)  I would be willing to try Dove again, because it is (as I said already) a very comparable anti-perspirant deodorant.

I am a college athlete so I need a deodorant that will keep up with me all day long. I also look for a deodorant that is smooth on my underarms because I tend to get skin irritation from shaving. Finally, I also value a deodorant that has a subtle, pleasant smell but is not too overpowering. This deodorant definitely has all of those characteristics. I find that I only need to apply the deodorant once daily and it does the trick! Also, I no longer have issues with underarm irritaiton. The smell is nice and I like it because I can still wear body mist or perfume and it does not create a conflicting scent. The smell is described as being fragrant and woody with subtle notes of citrus and apricot. The only reason I did not give this deodorant a five star rating is because the active ingredient, Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly is not as prominent as other deodorants (14.8%). Other brands such as Ban and Lady Speed Stick have closer to 18% of active ingredients. However, I must say that I really like this product and plan to continue to buy it for some time.

I tried this product with high expectations.  After all, I saw a full page ad in a magazine, boasting how this product could actually soothe and eliminate shaving irritation, which still working as an anti-perspirant. Not! I have dealt with underarm shaving irritation since I can remember.  Probably since the first time I shaved them.  I have tried so many deodorants I can't remember one from another.  But with all the advertising this product has done about "beautifying" underarms I was convinced it would work on me. I followed all the instructions in the ad as if I've never shaved my underarms or applied deodorant before.  I washed, shaved, patted dry, and applied.  After doing this routine diligently, my underarm irritation was ever worse than ever! The other negative has to do with the design of the container.  For some reason, the product cakes up around the top and every time I take the lid off pieces of the deordant go flying everywhere.  I am just assuming this is some type of design flaw since I've never had it happen with other deordants. I really don't know what the cause is.  But what I do know, is that I will not be using Dove deodorant any longer.  And even though other products don't do any better, they also don't focus on soothing and smoothing underarms as much as Dove does.  So for me they are the epic failure.

Lets get right to it all I can say about Dove Ultimate Beauty Care Antiperspirant Deodorant - Light Radiance is I want my money back.This product is neither an antiperspirant or deodorant if you ask me.I buy and use whatever deodorant/antiperspirant strikes my fancy when I go to the store to buy it .I have use all diffrent kinds and never had a problem until I bought the Dove Ultimate Beauty Care Antiperspirant/ deodorant. This product does not work .I dont sweat alot nor have I got a whiff of my own B.O.  until I used this product. I assure you I bathed that day I used it  and my uderarms were slightly rank later that day.This product came in a two pack and I gave one to my mother and asked her to try it and she had the same experiance with it .i didnt like the texture of it either its kind of thick and a little too sticky making it take a little longer than other deodorants to dry which then leaves a residue on your clothes .My verdict is to skip it please take my advice and dont buy it.

         I am happy to review this! this is my all time favorite deodorant. the smell is amazing and it lasts all day long. I am not a real sweaty person, but on days when I am doing yard work or working up a sweat, I always smell freshness. I first tried this because I had gotten a sample of it in the mail. I was surprised at how well that it has worked for me. I was kind of going through different deodorants trying to find the right kind for me. I was using a very cheap kind that just was not doing the job and I was thinking that maybe I had to go to a clinical strengh or something. Until I tried this. I found out that it was not me it was just the cheap bad deodorant that I was using. the price on this is very reasonable, which it kind of has to be for me to buy it.... I would recommend this product to anyone and I would hope that it would work as well for them as it  has worked for me. this is one of my favorite beauty products and definatly my favorite brand of deodorant now! Give it a try

I got to try a sample of this product but **I have to admit I am a roll on girl** I have not so far had any luck on bar deodorant they always stain my clothing and I will be stinking in no time I don't sweat a lot but the little I do will have odor I know is gross but it happens . I am very conscious about it and I carry a mini size always with me but **I though giving this one a try.****I notice a 12 our protection and still could smell the nice scent the deodorant has **I could not believe it and it does moisturizes your skin I am happy finally find my deodorant I think dove is making really great products lately that are affordable.Running after a toddler all day and living in **Arkansas hot and humid** **you need a deodorant that has your back!** I love the fact that the scent is not so strong that will cover my perfume and the fact that has plenty moisturizer to keep your armpits from redness.If you are a mom on the go looking for a deodorants that works and will not stain your cloth you need to get this one **this will be my choice from now on!**
