I absolutely love the Dove formula for their Sensitive Essentials day lotion. I have been using it since I was old enough to care about my skin. I have been spoiled because I did not know until later what high quality it was! It keeps my skin so soft and moist, no matter how dry it gets! Even in the cold winter months you cannot tell that my skin might have even had the slightest dryness to it. This is even in the midst of using makeup products on my face every day and using different cleansers. I really like that it is a dry formula so I never feel like there is a film left on my face it just soaks right into my skin. It is very lightweight and still very moisturizing. I highly recommend this facial moisturizer! It is one of the best available. Effectiveness This formula is very effective and easy to use. Ease of Application So easy to apply because you can never use too little or too much! It always soaks right into your skin and never leaves a residue or film. It also never feels sticky to the touch.

I love Dove products. I have been in love with their products for as long as I can remember. I have very dry, sensitive skin, with rosacea. Normally Dove products work excellently with my skin but I find that Dove Sensitive Essentials Day Lotion is just average. It claims to sooth skin, reduce redness, and moisturize. I did not find that it did any of those three, really. It goes on nicely and absorbs quickly. It does not feel greasy or heavy. It just did not moisture as well as other lotions. My skin still felt scaly, tight, and had dry patches. My face was still very red even with continued use of the product. Sadly, this Dove product was a let down. Effectiveness I was really hoping my skin would feel more soothed and be moisturized but this product was simply average. Ease of Application I like the pump feature on this lotion since it is more hygienic. Scent The lotion claims to be fragrance free but there is a light scent to it.

I am a huge fan of all Dove products, and really love this Lotion. It has a nice scent that is not to strong and leaves you smelling nice and fresh. The lotion is not oily so you don't get that greasy feeling after applying it. I have dry skin, especially dry during the cold winter months and this lotion works well to keep my skin moisturized. I use this mainly on my face and it does great keeping my face smooth and fresh feeling. I also use it on my feet as they dry out a lot too, and it helps keep them moisturized and keeps them from itching. It is great to use all over though, works well on any part of the body you need to apply it to. I think this lotion, as well as most Dove products is gentle and works well for many skin types. I have no complaints at all about this lotion, it is awesome, and I would recommend it to everyone. Dove just makes all the best products in my personal opinion.

As soon as I saw this product online I had to buy it! I have used Dove soaps since I was an infant. Their line of hair care products is phenomenal. I am very impressed with the results of this lotion so far. After having used three quarters of the bottle my parched summer skin I am pleased to say that it has moisturized my skin without clogging my already greasy pores! Its got such a nice lightweight texture that really gets in there and helps with all the damage the sun and heat has done. I cannot have something to heavy on my skin in the summer yet I cannot go without moisturizing. This is perfect. My only complaint is how difficult it is to find this lotion at the stores. I searched all my local discount and drug stores to no avail. While I don't mind purchasing things online, I wish I could go to the store and purchase it. Effectiveness Great lightweight moisturizer that helped soothe my parched sun damaged skin. I have such a problem with dryness and oiliness in the summer and this lotion allowed me to moisturize without clogging my pores. It has such a gentle formula I was able to use it on a patch of sunburn. Ease of Application I like the pump dispenser. I hate wasting cream. Since this formula is so thin it would be easy to pour to much out. The dispenser gives you just enough. I to two pumps covered my entire face and neck. Scent As with other Dove products the scent is pretty enough to be pleasant but it is not irritating at all. I used this on my neck and around my eyes which is where my skin is the most sensitive.

I use this product during the harsh winter months to help keep my skin moisture. I have been using Dove products for many years now and I am pleased with using this particular skin care product. This facial lotion is fragrant free and oil free. It's very light in texture and does not clog up my pores. The winter months can be very harsh on my skin and when I use Dove Sensitive Skin Facial Lotion, I know my skin will stay moistured and my skin won't suffer from any type of skin damage due to the harsh weather elements. This product is easy to apply, I pump out two or three squirts of this product and evenly distribute it over my entire face. My face does not feel oily nor does the product feel heavy on my face. The price of this product fits within my budget and is well worth the price. The product does exactly as it claims it will do and I have been very pleased with my results.

The overall ratings of Dove sensitive skin facial lotion is a very good lotion especially for your face.It's good in general for your skin if you have delicate and sensitive skin.Dove lotion gets my vote big time. Effectiveness Dove sensitive skin facial lotion really leaves your skin soft and dry free.This product is a very good lotion especially if you have problems with you FACIAL skin.I definitely recommend Dove sensitive skin facial lotion because it will moisturize and keep your skin real nice and soft making you feel great in your skin.If you haven't tried this product,you need to at least give it a try and see for yourself. Ease of Application When you apply an application,Dove sensitive skin facial lotion will go on nice and smooth.The lotion will make you feel good about yourself and it also makes you want to take a shower in it. I have to be careful with lotions and creams because I have really, REALLY sensitive skin (hives, rashes, etc.) so most products are worthless for me. They just cause break outs on my torso and upper thighs. Luckily i spotted an unopened bottle of Dove Sensitive Facial Lotion underneath my better half's sink and snagged it. This is one of the FEW products that I can use to help relieve itching pain that doesn't promote more itching and break outs. Plus, as an added bonus, it's non greasy and doesn't smell like a perfume counter at the mall (I hate that. Seriously, when girls smell so overpowerfully of flowers I want to puke.) This is just a regular lotion that works. And that, ultimately, is all I'm after.

I love this product!  This is a great moisturizer/lotion for anyone with sensitive skin.  I have extremely sensitive skin and this lotion works wonders for me, especially when my skin is irritated and during the winter months.  It is a light lotion that won't leave your skin feeling greasy, does not clog pores, and works well under foundation.  The only drawback is that it does not contain sunscreen, but I love this product and would recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin who is looking for a great light lotion.

I want to love this, I really do, and I have always had a love affair with Dove, so it seemed only natural that I could learn to love this moisturizer too. But I can't. I can't let go of the fact that this contains no SPF. Ever since I lived in Australia, I know the importance of having a little bit of sun protection in your daily moisturizer. I bought this thinking that all moisturizers MUST have it, but this one didn't, and I guess because people with sensitive skin are probably going to have skin reactions against SPF chemicals (which I hear are quite strong and harsh!!!!!!!).  I tried to finish this tube but I really can't because you need SPF even when it is overcast outside, so basically the only time I can safely use this is at night! It of course is not thick enough to be a night cream, and is in fact quite thin in consistency that I doubt it works as a day cream! All in all not a product I will use again!

I was using Olay it irritated my face with redness and breakouts around my chin and mouth. i bought dove sensitive skin facial lotion. No more redness, breakouts just smooth facial skin. Alas, i went to several stores in the area and Dove moisturizers are no longer on the shelf, just Olay. Please bring it back
