Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo for Accumulated Damage —

I have naturally curly hair that tends to be very dry and frizzy. I also color it from time to time when I get bored which is quite damaging. It's necessary for me to use a lot of product on it in order to get it to even slightly resemble healthy hair. All of these products have actually ended up leaving my hair even more damaged. I have tried many different shampoos and conditioner's that claim to repair damaged and dry hair but I haven't really seen much improvement. I received a sample of Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo for Accumulated Damage and WOW, what a difference this shampoo makes!

About Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo for Accumulated Damage...

This shampoo is specifically for hair with severe, accumulated damage, prone to breakage and split ends. The manufacturer claims that it "Repairs severe, accumulated damage by penetrating into the finest lines and breaks of every strand for intense hydration". It can be purchased for around $4.99 for a 12 oz bottle at most grocery, drug and discount stores.

What I think about this Dove Shampoo...

I have to admit that for some reason I have never bought nor did I ever plan to buy shampoo made by Dove. I always thought of Dove as just a facial soap. Since I received a free sample, I figured why not give it a try. The bottle was travel sized so my husband and I both had a chance to use it. All it took was about nickel-sized amount for him and about a quarter sized amount for me since I have long hair. The shampoo is white and creamy and has a clean fresh scent to it. Even though this shampoo is considered "intense therapy", it is still applied and rinsed like any other shampoo. After I towel dried my hair, I could immediately feel the difference in the softness of my hair. Looking in the mirror, I could see the shine and I hadn't even combed it yet. I found that I didn't need as much styling products as I normally do because my hair already looked great. My husband tried it also and he came over to me and said, "Feel my hair". I did and boy was it ever soft. It looked shiny and healthy too. He absolutely loves this shampoo as I do.

My Final Viewpoint...

Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo for Accumulated Damage is definitely one that my husband and I will continue to use. It really does make hair look very healthy and feel soft. It is gentle enough to use daily therefore, I recommend this shampoo to anyone who even has a slight bit of damage to his or her hair. I am giving Dove two thumbs up and a well deserved 5 star rating!

Great review. This I color my roots every 5 weeks so I'd like to alternate this with the current one I use. Thanks for the tip!

I found that it works well with my hair .... for awhile, but my curly dry hair becomes bored easily and I have to be able to change it up.

This sounds like great stuff for everybody and the price isn't bad. Next time I'm at CVS I may check this out to see if it has Yellow No. 10 in it and if not, I might give this a whirl even though my hair isn't really damaged. I think it's good for a person's hair to vary shampoos now and then.

Dove does hair care pretty well. I don't like most of the other stuff Dove puts out but I do like their hair care products usually. Good review!
