i bought the dove intense damage shampoo and i immidiatley fell in love with it. it was not really that expensive. i purchased it for under five dollars. it was at my local wal mart store, plus i had a coupon, which made the price even better for me. it is not very easy for a single mother whos on a low budget income to afford a hair product that actually works, without having to go to an expensive salon, but any woman whos has any type of breakage or damage from either coloring and putting different chemicals on their hair over a period of time, this product would work great on their hair. from...

I love Dove's Intense damage therapy shampoo. It cleans my hair so extremely well without drying it out.  it makes my hair smell amazing.  It's so silky and lathers so well, it is the best shampoo that I have ever used in my entire life.  Using this shampoo makes me want to adopt the entire Dove hair care system.  I am an African American Women with Natural hair.  Mu hair is not frizzy, but it is very curly and wavy in different  places on my head.  It is very difficult to find a shampoo that is suitable for all of my different hair textures. I received a free sample of the Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner.  After using this product for five days, I am hooked!  From the minute I squeezed the shampoo into my hand, I knew this would be a good product.  The shampoo was thick and creamy and smelled amazing!

The shampoo lathered nicely and the scent increased in intensity the more it sat on my scalp.  After rinsing it out, my hair felt clean and soft.  I used gel in my hair and often the shampoos do not remove all the gel residue.  After using the Dove Intense Damage Therapy, no residue remained.

Dove Intense Damage Therapy was suggested by my hair stylist. A rinse with the shampoo leaves the hair soft, smooth and smelling fresh. Unfortunately, conditioner has to be bought separate (which I've done). The usage has proved good to my hair, especially in terms of breakage rate. Of course, dead hair cannot be repaired. But if you can prevent it, that would be really cool. And Dove does that. I do recommend the product.

I blow-dry and style my hair everyday, it receives a lot heat. This makes it dry and rough and not fun to feel if you are a guy.
