I gave this conditioner a 7 because it has some flaws. I was really excited to try this "Dove damage therapy volume boost conditioner" for the simple fact that I LOVE Dove products. I feel they are one of the best haircare lines out there. I was sent a small packet sample through the mail by the company to try it and review it. I was very pleased with the scent, it had a fresh and clean smell to it. I also love the fact that you do not need to use a lot of this conditioner, a little goes a long ways. This product is very rich and creamy in texture, so it lathers up very well. The only thing that I really did not like about this conditioner was the fact that it did not add any Volume to my hair like it states. My hair was just as flat as it was before the few times that I used this conditioner. Effectiveness This conditioner did not add any volume to my hair, however, I did notice a significantly less amount of split ends and broken hairs. I did end up purchasing a bottle to use just for my hair damage, not for adding any volume. Scent It smells nice and very clean, the scent doesn't seem to last long though.

This conditioner combines two of my biggest hair issues. I have very fine hair, so it can be limp and flat at times. I also have some damage due to coloring it all the time. I purchased this conditioner because I wanted to see if it was able to nourish and repair my hair while giving it a boost in volume. This conditioner definitely lived up to its promises. I noticed immediately that this conditioner really helped to repair the damage to my hair, especially to the split ends. I do not get my hair cut as often as I should, but this conditioner helped to heal and moisturize the ends of my hair. It also helped with the color damage. When I blow dried my hair, I could definitely see that this conditioner also helps with volume. My hair was a lot less flat and limp after using this conditioner. I felt that this conditioner took away a lot of the heaviness in my hair and left it light and airy. I definitely recommend using this conditioner if you have flat hair that is damaged.

I have very straight and fine hair, so it looks flat and thin most of the time. I decided to try Dove Damage Therapy Volume Boost Conditioner since it says it can boost the volume of hair. It turned out one of the best conditioners for me. It feels pretty rich and smells good. Most importantly, my hair does look fluffier and thicker after it gets dried. At the same time, it makes my hair moist and shiny too. I usually get a few bottles whenever they are on sale. Effectiveness keep hair moist and shiny while boost its volume

I never used to use conditioner on my hair until about two years ago. Finding a good conditioner is also difficult because they all are made different and your hair reacts differently to them all! I bought Dove Volume Therepy Conditioner, for fine, limp hair, extra volume about two months ago. I really like how it makes my hair feel smooth and shiny! It does a good job of adding "volume" to my hair and if you can't wash your hair everyday you will be okay because the Dove Volume Therapy Conditioner helps your hair stay feeling good for longer than others! O love the smell of the Dove Volume Therapy Conditioner, it is not to strong yet the smell lingers on your hair for a while leaving it smelling fresh! If your hair is very fine or limp, I hope you will try Dove Volume Therepy Conditioner for fine, limp hair, extra volume! If it does not help your hair feel great, than try a different kind until you find one that feels "right'!

Dove Extra Volume Conditioner leaves your hair dry and flat.  Okay, at least it left My hair dry and flat.  I was not impressed with Dove Extra Volume Conditioner either as a hair conditioner or as an Extra Volume hair product.  Two strikes from me.  Yes, I did follow the directions:  "After shampooing, massage conditioner through hair and rinse thoroughly after one to three minutes."  For many conditioners that I have used, I can use a small dab to condition all of my hair.  Not so with Dove Extra Volume Conditioner.  With this product, I have to use more conditioner than I use with other conditioners.  Also, when I wash out the conditioner, my hair feels dry, not soft and/or silky.  (I like my hair to feel soft and silky.)  Also, my hair feels and looks flat and limp, not full of extra volume -- as the name of the product would imply:  "Dove Extra Volume Conditioner."  I guess that one plus is that this product does not leave my hair greasy.  Dove Extra Volume Conditioner leaves your hair dry and flat.

This Dove conditioner falls into my top three favorite conditioners category. Thtis Dove conditioner is another great conditioner that leaves my hair so soft and silky (also with a lot of shine)! I always like to start off with the matching Dove shampoo, then follow with the conditioner. I find that this conditioner works the best if I leave it on my hair for at least two minutes, then gently comb the tangles out. It is also nice when I rinse my hair with cold water to leave it especially shiny. After I've used this product and then I am drying my hair, I find my hair to be more manageable and nearly tangle-free. I find this product gentle enough on my hair to use everyday and I haven't noticed my hair drying out at all. The smell is sweet and delicious.  Since my hair is straight and long with litte volume, I've found that this conditioner does add some noticeable volume and makes my hair look thicker.

I have always been a fan of Dove, but their products lately are getting better and better. Their shampoos, conditioners and body washes are as good as the expensive ones, and don't cost near as much. Plus, it's easy to find them at the drug or grocery store.I especially like there Dove Extra Volume Shampoo's and Conditioner .I would definitely recommended it.

Let me begin by saying that Dove Extra Volume Conditioner was the first conditioner I have ever used. I got a small sample bottle of the conditioner from a relative who recommended it to me. She said it made her hair look shinny. From what I had seen, her hair looked great. So, I brought it home and I made sure I followed the instruction: "After shampooing, massage conditioner through hair and rinse thoroughly after 1 to 3 minutes." I was pretty sure I did exactly what it said. Yet, I was very disappointed at the result. My hair looked pretty much the same without using the conditioner, except a bit dryer. I also noticed there were more dandruff (probably because of the extra messaging and rinsing?). After this, I just lost my confidence in the effectiveness of conditioner.  It could be just my hair and not the conditioner's fault. However, I am not going to use Dove Extra Volume conditioner anymore nor am I going to recommend it to anyone.

Dove Volume Therapy Conditioner is a great product.  I am extremely picky about the items I use on my hair.  I have very fine hair but a ton of it and it gets weighed down very easily.  It's hard to find a conditioner that doesn't weigh it down yet still softens like a conditioner should.  This product was perfect for that.  I have been using both the conditioner and shampoo and together they give my hair exactly what it needs to look great.  This conditioner gives hair both shine and volume! The packaging is attractive if not plain and easy to open and close (I've had some shampoos and conditioners that are near impossible to open once in the shower and have soapy or wet hands).  Also, the scent is not obnoxious, it is a light scent. Dove Volume Therapy Conditioner is also very inexpensive, even without coupons and sales.  Combine those in and you can get this product for as cheap (or cheaper than) the bargain shampoos that make your hair feel like straw.

I have been a Pantene user for over a year. Since I couldn't find a difference in my hair and couldn't say it was a super performer, I stopped using it. Dove Conditioner not only puts volume in my hair but keeps the curl in as well. If its lovely scent were stronger, that would be a bonus!
