Comparable to herble essences hello hydration, however this dove shampoo creates longer lasting softness so it is still fresh and healthy in between washes. Matched with the same conditioner, these are two remarkable hair products on the market and are a great value for the reasonable and amazingly affordable price! Effectiveness Hair is soft, shiny and smooth with noticeably less flyaways and frizz as caused by heat styling and blow dryer damage. It even helps color treated hair look less fried and dry. After just one wash it looks noticeably smoother, but after a few washes it appears intensely nourished and easier to manage. Scent It is not advertised or noted in any way for a particular scent, but the scent is none the less pleasant. However, one must sacrifice such novelties such as scent for the luxury of smooth and healthy hair.

After trying countless shampoos from the cheapest to the most expensive, this has to be the absolute best I have ever tried. I have been a loyal customer of this shampoo for over 2 years now. My hair needs change as the weather changes but this shampoo has been with me through extreme cold winters, rainy springs, hot and muggy summers, and cool falls. I decided to write a review after coming back from vacation where I could not find this shampoo anywhere and had to opt for another brand that was twice as much money and left my hair feeling horrible! When I came home my hair became an instant wonder after using this shampoo as well as the conditioner just one time! What a relief! I have color-treated, oily yet dry and damaged combination hair (straight, thick and fine all at once!) and this is the only product that leaves my hair feeling and looking its best without weighing it down at all! I really love this product and highly recommend it to anyone I come into contact with!

I have long hair that gets pulled backed and curled. I also twirl my hair alot, so my hair gets pretty damaged. After three week using Dove Intensive Care Shampoo and Conditioner my hair had less dead ends and looks healthier. Dove has saved my hair.

I really love the way that Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo makes my hair feel. Like I wrote in my review of the conditioner, I'm not sure that it actually repairs, but I do know that it doesn't make my hair feel unhealthier. Its very lightweight and my hair just looks better, even if I know that looking at it closely doesn't show that it's so healthy. Plus it smells good and its so soft that I can play with it without the fear of the hair breaking. Other shampoos seem to really dry my hair out and I do worry about it breaking when I brush it or style it, but I do not have that fear when I use this Dove Damage Therapy shampoo. I also really like the price. Dove products are moderately priced so I tend to stock up when it goes on sale, but if I need to buy at the last minute, its not as expensive as other products that claim to be repairing damaged hair. I would highly recommend this product!

Well, I was sent a sample of intensive repair shampoo n conditoner in the mail. I tried it out and didnt like it just seemed to make my natural curly hair 2 frezzy..So I continuned on my search to find a new shampoo n conditoner because herbeal essences that i was currently using was just not cutting it no more... So my sister came over n was bragging to me about this new shampoo she been using n how she wont use anything else now but (dove)..I said I tried that she said no way this stuff is amazing n her hair was looking the best i ever seen it...So i thought mayb I should just buy 1 bottle and use it mre than once what the heck i have a coupon that dove sent me 4 it what do I have 2 loose my hair has been a mess lately anyway..I bought it and could not be any happier. I do not knw y the first time my hair didnt take but that second time felt like a mircle...mayb the package just wasnt enough 4 me 2 test i dont knw wat happen but all i do knw is that i am vey happy 2 have dove shampoo it really helps my hair to look better thank ever and coupons can always be found for this great product so i always can save when buying this wonderful product...

I got this as a sample. I am very picky about my shampoo because I have long, shiny, shampoo commercial hair.  It takes a lot to keep it that way.  This stuff is good.  It doesn't have a heavy or overpowering smell, which is nice.  I can share it with my husband if I buy a bottle sometime.  I can't say it repaired much damage, but it seemed to clean well and it certainly didn't cause any damage by being overly drying or anything like that.  I don't think it left a significant residue or left my hair feeling greasy or heavy like some other moisturizing shampoos.  I also like that it seemed that it required less shampoo to get the same amount of clean.  Looking at prices, it seems to be reasonably priced and Dove sometimes has coupons, though I don't think I often see screaming deals.  I might really switch from my regular brand of shampoo if I ever get through all the samples of other shampoos I have left to try.

After all of that hair coloring just destroyed and damaged my hair. It was a lot of work to keep the color looking good and my roots colored. So I eventuallygot tired of the work and now I have decided to stop coloring my hair and let my natural hair grow out again. While I was shopping for my usual shampoo, i saw this shampoo sitting on the shelf and decided to buy and try it. I was not expecting it actually work but I thought it might help a little. This first time I washed my hair with the shampoo, the difference you could fell was immediate. I was very surprised that it worked so fast. At first I was using the shampoo everyday, but that seemed to make my hair feel oily so I changed to using every time, using another shampoo instead of this one. This helped to get rid of the oily feeling. I having been using this shampoo for three months now and I could be happier. It is well worth the money I and it actually works!*

Dove damage therapy not only smells fantastic, but it really works. I am always on the lookout for hair care products. My hair is thick, and therefore I am bascially forced to blow dry my hair each day. Because of all the damage done to my hair by styling tools, it has really taken the heat and seems to get worse and worse each time I blow dry. Thanks to Dove Damage Therapy, I can style my hair without stressing about how damaged it will get. After one use of this product I really started to notice a differece in my hair. My hair was actually soft, I don't know the last time I can seriously say that my hair felt soft. I can wash it in the evening and let it air dry and after sleeping on it, it is soft and silky in the morning.
