Dove Damage Repair for Color-Treated Hair Shampoo is a must have in my bathroom! I went brand to brand from Paul Mitchell to Suave trying their shampoo for damaged color treated hair. I wasn't able to find one that I really liked until I tried Dove! Effectiveness Both Dove shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair are amazing. Dove's shampoo makes such a difference in the overall appearance of your hair and the life span of your hair color is longer. Scent The shampoo has a nice light refreshing scent making you feel clean and rejuvenated.

The shampoo smells great, lathers well, and leaves hair feeling healthy and soft. It is such a great bargain! A must buy if you are on a tight budget and don't want to sacrifice having fabulous hair. Don't use too much and always pair it with the conditioner to get ultra silky hair. I really enjoyed the softness and shininess my hair had afterwards. Effectiveness Do not use too much or your hair will be left dryer than before.

Years of coloring has started to take a toal on my hair. I have used high end salon shampoos and inexpensive store brands but nothing has made my hair feel like this! This shampoo leaves my hair light and does not leave a sticky residue or heaviness to my hair after use. The scent is light and refreshing, not at all heavily perfumed as others I've used have been. I get out of the shower without a heavy perfume scent to my hair - basically my hair isn't competing with my regular perfume. I must admit I was a bit leary since I have tried so many brands prior to this but thought anything was worth a shot. I wish this shampoo had been out when I first started coloring as I'm sure my hair would be in better shape now if I had used it from the beginning. My color lasts longer and stays more moisturized throughout the day even after I've abused it from blow drying and straight ironing on almost a daily basis. I can't recommend this shampoo enough!

I've tried other shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair and find that Dove Color Treatment doesn't leave my hair feeling so weighed down as the others do.  It also seems to keep my color vibrant longer, allowing me more time between colorings. I also love the smell!  The price is great too!
