Dove Beauty Bar Soap Reviews

Dove Beauty Bar is a bar soap/beauty bar that is used to clean the body and face without drying out your skin.  It comes in various scents. 

 I have always used the liquid body washes in different scents from various different brands.  Lately, with the economy being bad I switched to Dove Beauty bar because I heard it was wonderful and cost efficient. 

Let me just start by saying "I LOVE DOVE BEAUTY BAR".  It is the nicest bar soap I have ever used.  I stopped using bar soap a long time ago because it left a film residue on my skin that I did not like at all.  Dove Beauty Bar is different. ...

Dove beauty soap is the only one that I feel pampered with.  I love the shape of it, which separates it from other soaps.  It has the Dove logo on the bar and also the Dove flying above it.

This soap gives a great lather, has a really pleasant smell, and works great for this lady.

I also love the fact that I can purchase the travel size ones when I am on the road.

Dove beauty soap give a thicker, richer lather than most other soaps and is worth paying a little extra for.

Final thoughts

After using my Dove beauty soap I feel really clean, fresh, and feminine.  Some of the other soaps just don't make...

I've been using this product for a long time and it has never disappointed me. I find it perfect for my skin which easily gets chafed by heat and dryness...It gives me everything i need from a beauty soap, it has 1/4 moisturizing cream so it doesn't leave my skin dry after washing which other facial soap would normally do. I can really feel how clean my face is after washing and it never irritates my skin because it has mild ingredients that really works for me. It leaves my face smooth and soft and i need only to apply a regular facial cream to complete my evening regimen before going to bed....

I have sensitive skin. Any product with fragrance or dyes will aggravate my skin.  I will break out with a rash or my skin will dry and crack open, with itching sores.  This is very uncomfortable, miserable, and very painful.  Dove beauty bar is the only soap, I have found, that will not irritate or increase the pain of an already painful situation.  The Dove soap is so gentle I even used it on my small son without any worries of it causing skin irritation.  He is now seven and has no problems with sensitive skin, THANK GOD!   I recently recommended Dove to a new mother.  Her infant...

I really enjoy trying new and different products, and I have just recently tried a new Dove beauty bar.  "Go fresh energize:  My sister was visiting from the Dallas-Fort Worth area recently, and I discovered that she had left a few bars of her Dove soap "Go Fresh".  I usually purchase the dove sensitive skin beauty bars for my daughter.  However, With the discovery of the "Go Fresh" beauty bar I love it!!!

Dove is the best beauty bar aound.  It has a memorable scent, I can just about smell it on anyone using it.  It has kept my skin soft and beautiful for years.  What I appreciate the most is that when you use Dove in the tub, it doesn't kill the bubbles and thats a plus when you are relaxing in a bubble bath.

Because of the scent I had a hard time convincing my  husband to use it.  I would normally separate my Dove from his soap.  One day I switched because I hated the way his hands looked fromhis line of work and I noticed that whatever was in the shower he would use.

Well he has not complained...

If you aren't too picky about wierd chemicals in your soap and like to buy them from a grocery store or Walmart/Target, this is your best bet! When I cant afford the nice handmade goatsmilk stuff with essencial oils (yeah thats the good stuff!), Dove is a good backup.

A bit critical, but it has to be said of their advertising - If you've seen the commercial for Dove on Tv that "This is the residue that other leading soaps leave behind... so use Dove," you've gotta see it for what it is - another faulty advertisement. The images are digitally created and Dove leaves behind as much residue as any...

 I have been a user and lover of Dove Beauty Bars since I was just a kid.  I have very sensitive skin and this Dove is the only soap that does not leave me with itchy broken out skin.  I always make sure to stock up when I find the larger packages on sale.  I use it on my 1 and 3 year old also and their skin stays as baby soft as it should be.  My husband has also taken a liking to it and he always smells so good and his skin feel so soft.  Dove boasts 1/4 moisturizing cream per bar and I have to say that I can absolutely tell a difference from other soap bars.  Dove Beauty Bar's lather...

I must say that "Dove Beauty Bar" hasn’t let me down. It is one of the best  that I've ever used. It leaves every inch of skin clean, smooth, and moisturized. It’s great for acne-prone skin too, though I happened to read somewhere in a forum that it isn’t particularly good for acne. I love this soap, especially the way it smells. My favorite scent, other than the original, is the pink or rosa variety. It's comparably priced to the average prices of the more affordable brands of soap. The brand occasionally has coupons and sometimes CVS or Walgreens will have a price break. It lathers really nicely in the shower and goes on smooth and leaves skin feeling soft. I think my most favorite thing about the soap is how feminine it makes me feel using it; I don't think of it as a very masculine brand though. Dove also has extensive lines where they make the scents in different mediums....
