Dove Beauty Bar Soap Review

If you aren't too picky about wierd chemicals in your soap and like to buy them from a grocery store or Walmart/Target, this is your best bet! When I cant afford the nice handmade goatsmilk stuff with essencial oils (yeah thats the good stuff!), Dove is a good backup.

A bit critical, but it has to be said of their advertising - If you've seen the commercial for Dove on Tv that "This is the residue that other leading soaps leave behind... so use Dove," you've gotta see it for what it is - another faulty advertisement. The images are digitally created and Dove leaves behind as much residue as any other soap I'd imagine. In fact, most soap users WANT it to leave behind moisturizing "residue." What you really want is a soap that won't leave HARMFUL residue behind like all the wierd chemicals/parabens/whatevers that most soaps have.

If you look at the ingredients list of Dove, it's still not perfect, but it's probably a lot better than most of the other soaps on the shelves.
