Dove is one of my favorite beauty brands and have experimented with most of their products, with the exception of their shampoos. That all changed recently when I purchased the Dove Advanced Color Therapy Shampoo. My hair has been greying ever since my late twenties. As I get older the greys have come in quicker and now require me to color my hair far more often than I would really like to, but those are the travails of trying to look young. As a result, I need a shampoo that will not strip the color out of my hair but in fact do the opposite, help prolong the coloring. Dove Advanced Color Therapy Shampoo does just this. Not only does it extend the life of my hair color, thus resulting in me not having to color my hair quite so frequently, saving me money and time, but it also helps to bring out the best in my hair color. This shampoo revitalizes the color and really makes it bright and shiny. Coloring my hair can leave it dull and stripped of much needed moisture. Dove shampoo helps to combat the dryness. It gives me the best (and softest) hair I can possibly have and that is why I would recommend this shampoo for those that have thick, long, dry, color treated hair like myself.

I received both the Dove Advanced Care Color Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner in the mail. The size of the sachet was 0.28 fluid ounce (8.3 ml.). Using one product from a range helps, but I decided to use both. I went into the shower, wet my hair, and then tore off the top of the sachet. I squeeze out the clear shampoo. It had a wonderful floral smell to it. I then dotted it on my hair, and then added water, to get a good lather. There was plenty of shampoo to do this. The lather was plentiful. I left it on while I shaved my legs, etc. After rinsing it off, I used the corresponding conditioner, which has the same wonderful fragrance. I then completed my hair experience, and was delighted to have hair that was full of body, had shine, and kept it's blonde color. This is so important as I color my hair often, and the Florida sun can make my blonde look brassy. Love it. Effectiveness Clean hair, that shone, and was in good condition. Color stayed great. Scent Lovely floral fragrance.

I started using dove about 2 years ago. I could not be happier for the effectiveness of this product! I think for the cost and the quality is really good. I really like the dove line for they moisturize without weighing my hair down. They always smell soooo good! I used to use a salon brand that I felt ok about, but then I tried the dove and was surprisingly happy. I think the dove products are one of the closest to salon brands without paying salon price. It is nice to be able to have quality hair care products without breaking the bank! Some hair products leave your hair feeling slimy or dry....but dove always seems to have the right balance. Overall a pretty happy with dove's line of products!

Love, love, LOVE Dove"s new Color Repair Shampoo! I am 45 and do color my gray hairs away and have found that some shampoos will make the color dull and lifeless. Some even seem to strip away the color quickly!): i am very happy to report to everyone that Dove Advanced Colr Repair Shampoo does the exact opposite! My hair is smooth as silk, shining bright with color, bounces with fullness,is super clean< and smells great! Beautiful hair, indeed! Also, found a great money saving coupon< was on sale< and got those needed extra bucks! Always thought of Dove as not a leading, salon-type hair product, but with Dove Advanced Color Repair Shampoo i get salon quality results at a much better price! I highlight my hair every 3-4 months and have been looking for a shampoo that is inexpensive yet effective for my color-treated hair (I have been using a salon shampoo at the request of my hair stylist but it was getting so expensive!).  Since I have tried Dove shampoos in the past, before I started highlighting my hair, I thought, "What the heck, why wouldn't Dove Advanced Care Color Therapy Shampoo work for my color-treated hair as well?"  Of course, I was hesitant to tell my hair stylist at first that I was using something other than the salon shampoo that she recommends for my hair, however, after using it for a couple of months, she didn't even notice that I wasn't using the salon shampoo and I was using Dove Advanced Care Color Therapy Shampoo!  Dove kept my highlights in just as long as the leading salon shampoo at half the cost!  I would recommend Dove Advanced Care Color Therapy Shampoo to anyone who is looking to save a buck or two!

I tried Dove Advanced Color Therapy shampoo after receiving a free sample by mail. I had never thought to buy any form of Dove shampoo or conditioner because my sister had tried the original Dove shampoo and conditioner and hated it. I thought for free, sure I'l give it a shot! I'm so glad I did. AtI first it felt so light I thought I couldn't possible be cleaning my hair thoroughly. I used the shampoo and followed it with the conditioner. Which both smell great. It did clean my hair and left no residue. After it dried I was amazed with how soft it was. I'm a cheap'O' so I didn't rush out and buy it then and there, but waited for a good sale and stocked up. I've been using it for a few months now and I still am loving it. It smells good, cleans thoroughly and leaves your hair soft and silky. They put coupons out quite often which is very nice. So far I haven't had to pay full price for it. Not that it's  too expensive without a coupon, but who doesn't like saving money?

the shampoo smells great. Good lather. Leaves hair feeling very soft and the smell lingers all day. I get compliments on how good my hair smells all the time. i really like this product. You can also buy conditioner, or detangling spray, or styling products that go with it that are also super.
