Doubtful Sound, New Zealand —

Doubtful Sound is one of New Zealand's best kept secrets.  Milford Sound usually receives the lion's share of attention from tourists, but in the end, detracts from its beauty because of the crowds, commercialism, and noise.  Doubtful Sound is a neighboring area that is just a beautiful, and only a handful of companies provides small boat based tours there.  Our overnight cruise consisted of 10 total passengers on a small boat that traveled through the fiords all the way to the ocean and back.  We saw dolphins!  But it's the serenity as you travel between the huge cliffs that is the real payoff.  Definitely a must-do in the southern island of NZ.

The SOuth Island of NZ is amazing, and this may be the most gorgeous of it's wonders I loved it.
