DOUBT Cast:
Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, and Viola Davis.

DOUBT
is set in the Bronx at a Catholic school, and the story centers on a nun (Played by Meryl Streep) who grows suspicious when a priest {Played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) begins taking too much interest in the life of a young man who is the only black student and is isolated from the other students because of his color. Is the nun being overly protective or not protective enough? And will she work within the system to find out the truth?

VIOLA DAVIS who plays the mother of the black student also offers a very powerful performance, which has earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in this years Academy Awards.

I would have given DOUBT a much higher rating, but I hated how the movie ended!

Racism is a false God. It must be erradicated if the unity of the
human race is to emerge from the darkness of ignorance.

Was there a problem with the writing at the end? Was it an illogical conclusion?
