Not worth the extra price

Pros

lots of free parking, nice little fridge/microwave combo, right near highway, pool and fitness center were uncrowded, free wi-fi

Cons

very ordinary; overpriced, better value hotels located next door, tiny bathroom, air conditioner very loud, lighting in room inadequate, tv remote flukey - even after replaced, no free local calls

This hotel was ok. Standard room, clean, two queen beds, desk, reading chair, etc. There is a Super-8 right next door however - I'm guessing those rooms have all those things too. I selected this hotel because I was able to get a good rate on-line. I arrived a day early and wanted to stay 2 nights instead, but they wouldn't honor my rate for both nights and I ended up over-paying. I will say that the fridge - microwave combo was nice to have in the room. The fridge did not have a mini-bar - I actually prefer that to the over-priced liquor nips and snickers bars, but that may be just me. I was right next to the pool and fitness center and never noticed either to be very busy which was nice. I used the pool - it was larger than many hotel pools and would be great if you had kids. My tv remote wouldn't work right and I asked two different times to have it replaced and I still ended up needing to shake the thing to make it work. The air conditioner was super loud and it blew the drapes up so high that you could see into the room and they looked kind of creepy in the dark. Nice alarm clock - you could plug your ipod into it and play it through the speakers. Bathroom was small and toilet seat was wobbly. Minimal toiletries provided.
