I recently (April 2008) stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock AR while on business.  The hotel was undergoing major renovations on the top 3 floors of the hotel. The rooms are small, but comfortable.  Although the hotel proclaims to be environmentally friendly I did not find that to be true.  Although I asked that my bed linens and towels not be changed daily they always were.  I went as far as to make my bed, but housecleaning unmade it and changed the sheets.  I refolded my used towels and put them back on the rack only to find all new towels when I came back that evening.  However vacuuming... review »

The warm cookies at check-in set the standard for service
value conscious, a frequent traveler, not rich, picky about hotel rooms, world-traveler, expecting good, fair service, family traveler, adventurous

This is a older somewhat renovated/remodeled hotel. Most of the staff was friendly. The warm cookies received at check-in was a nice welcome home feeling. They were delicious as well. The rooms were clean and the amenities were ample. We were staying in this hotel for a convention so parking was limited and crowded. The elevators are very slow because the building is so old. Overall it was not a bad stay.
