I recently (April 2008) stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock AR while on business. The hotel was undergoing major renovations on the top 3 floors of the hotel. The warm cookies at check-in set the standard for service

value conscious, a frequent traveler, not rich, picky about hotel rooms, world-traveler, expecting good, fair service, family traveler, adventurous

This is a older somewhat renovated/remodeled hotel. Most of the staff was friendly. The warm cookies received at check-in was a nice welcome home feeling. They were delicious as well. The rooms were clean and the amenities were ample. We were staying in this hotel for a convention so parking was limited and crowded. The elevators are very slow because the building is so old. Overall it was not a bad stay.

This Doubletree was comfortable and the room had a great view of the Arkansas river. We stay there when we go to the Robinson for theater presintations. They only have a small restaurant but their parking garage is connected to the theater.

Entertainment: Short Walk, The old Arkansas State House is next door.
