My stay at the Doubletree Crystal City was fine, but nothing special. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night because some children were running around the hotel and played a prank. We were given complimentary breakfast the next day, but they only gave us one free breakfast, while there were two of us staying in the room. Also, the breakfast buffet was terrible, so it didn't really feel like compensation. Also, the airconditioning in our room didn't work, and after making 3 separate complaints where they claimed they had fixed it, but would send someone else out to look at it, we finally asked to switch rooms. They were very friendly and accommodating, but we felt as though the weekend was sort of a comedy of errors. It is in a very convenient location, and the room itself was comfortable. If you are looking for just a basic hotel for sleeping, I would recommend it, but don't expect anything too special.

Dining: Short Drive, There are a bunch of good restaurants just a few blocks from the hotel.
