This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. An in-expensive option to the hustle and bustle of Coral Gables and the Grove. Located right on the Bay I had room with a view and a fresh hot baked cookie waiting for me at check in. Perfect!

couple things to keep in mind: Valet park only - it's a hazzle when coming and leaving the hotel couple times a day because you have to wait for valet park entrance to lobby there's no hadicap entrance- it's not convience when you have to carry your luggages and bags up the stairs, especially for... read full review »

It was my first trip to Miami so Coconut Grove was a good choice. It was a straight shot South from the airport (MIA) and a quick drive. I was only there for 1 day to check on a prospective business. My room was excellent and the marina and ocean were right across the street. Free high speed Internet access was available in room and there was a business center on the first floor. I didn't have an opportunity to check out the pool. There were tennis courts behind the building which I think are part of the hotel. I would stay there again for business or pleasure. The Double Tree at Coconut Grove is in an excellent location with great views of both the local area and the ocean. It is quiet and user friendly. Across the street is a Food Market that will satisfy any craving for food that you may have along with two fine resturants. It is a quick stroll over to the waters edge and a very large park for family fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The recommendation for improvement would be to get a faster elevator.

Shopping: Short Walk, Park you car and pack a pair of walking shoes.

I have traveled quite a bit and the staff at this hotel were the most gracious and courteous that I have ever met. I appreciate the facts that this facility has a business center as well as access to the internet in the rooms. I have a child that must receive dialysis & nephrology care at Miami Childrens Hospital so the location is somewhat convenient. I look forward to staying at this hotel in the future.

Time Savers: Short Drive, This hotel is located close to medical facilities.

The Doubletree Hotel Coconut Grove has wonderful friendly staff. I was very impressed with the customer service and hotel cleanliness. I will recommend the DoubleTree to all my friends.

Nightlife: Short Drive, It is very close to Coconut Grove with all the nightclubs, restaurants, movies, etc.

My room was comfortable enough and the balcony is a nice touch. You are not able to earn miles here, but all and all it was a nice property close to fun times in Coconut Grove.

Nightlife: Short Walk, Everthing in Coconut Grove is a short walk. Good resturants (Mambo), bars and shopping.

My experience was nice the hotel is nice the area is nice they have valet parking you dont have to be worry about the parking... The people was so nice...
