I had wanted for some time to join a book club but wanted to check out the large print books. I don't really need them yet but it does make it easier on the eyes, less eye strain & I seem to be able to read faster. Once I read one from our library, I was hooked so joined the Double Day Large Print Book Club. Have been a member for about 3 yrs. now & am ready to stop so they will send me offers to come back. It's all so easy now...you can cancel the book of the month online, order books online plus they do offer books on sale at times. You can check your account at any time, pay for your books online & not have to stick a stamp on anything. Once, I ordered a book & realized 5 mins. later that I had already read it. By the time they got my message to cancel the order, it was in the shipping process. When it arrived, I didn't open it, wrote across the outside "Refused...return to sender" & they refunded my money. Plus, you can always check about new books coming out in the next month, pre order if you want, etc. I truly love this Book Club.
