Dorel Toddler Sleigh Bed - Walnut Review

For my youngest son's first birthday we decided to get him a toddler bed. He was getting to the point where he didn't want to be confined to his crib. So, first his birthday my mom bought him a bed, it was a Cars toddler bed. We went to put it up that night and none of the screws fit in the pre-drilled holes. I packed it up and returned it the next day. Wal-Mart didn't have many toddler beds in stock so I went to walmart.com. They were actually having a sale on the walnut Dorel Toddler Sleigh Bed. It was only $50! I ordered it immediately.

With only paying $50 and furniture coming from Wal-Mart, I didn't expect much. When it was delivered I opened the box and was immediately happy. It was such a great color. I got to building right away. The instructions that were included were a little vague and one part was almost impossible to put together with only one person. It took about an hour but I did it!

The end result was this gorgeous, expensive-looking toddler bed that I only paid fifty bucks for. The height is just right for my son to get in and out of bed by himself. There is one thing I would change, the rails. They aren't very long, maybe fifteen inches from the headboard. Once you throw a pillow on the bed the rails barely protect anything. Other than that this bed is awesome. It's got a sturdy hardwood construction, cute, the right height and priced right. I definitely recommend the Dorel Toddler Sleigh Bed.
