I absolutely love this bunk bed! About a year ago I made the decision to purchase a bunk bed for my teenage daughter, and my step daughters who stay on the weekends. My oldest has her own room, but when her sisters come in, they all sleep in her room. I needed a space saving bed since her room is small. She wasn't thrilled about a bunk bed, she said it made her feel like a little kid. i knew I had ro find her a bed that was stylish and modern. I showed her a number of trundle style beds with added mattress underneat, but she didn't like them. Then I showed her a picture of this bunk bed, let's just say our search ended. Putting this bed together was very simple, the quality is great, i had no issues assembling this bed. The color is sleek, the silver stands out, and matches hee room perfect. The top bunk has a safety bar across, I especially needed this in case my 2 youngest climb up on top, or sleep with their big sisters. I plan on buying new mattresses for this bed, but for now our older twin mattress does the job. I must stress how this bed fits in tight small places. I was surprised at the area that's leftover for my daughter to use after we put it together. It's not bulky, or over the top, it's a simple metal bed that I feel will last for years considering the quality Dorel Home Furnishings makes.

I needed to find a very durable, easy to assemble, cost effective set of bunks beds for the spare bedroom. I was very pleased when I found the Dorel Home Furnishings Silver Twin Metal Bunk Bed set. First plus was the cost. It fit very well into my limited budget. The next thing I put in the plus column was the easy way it assembled. I love how the ladder attaches to the frame. This eliminates the ladder sliding when it is being used which decreases chances of potential injuries. The finish on this bunk bed set is durable and very easy to clean. Mattresses do not come with this bunk bed unit but that is not a negative factor. Purchasing the mattresses separately gives you the opportunity to buy the firmness you want for each level of the bunk bed. I love the metal frame because I can make a fort out of the bottom bed area when the grandchildren are visiting. All I did was make curtains and sew in magnets along the top edge of the curtains. When they are done playing fort I just remove the curtains and the bunk bed set goes back to a regular unit.
