This worked well the first few times we used it. My daughter is now just over 3 and weighs about 31 pounds. She used this while we were visiting family friends last weekend. In the middle of the night she rolled over and was asleep on th floor completely inside the sleeping bag with the mattress completely on top of her. Between the synthetic fabric and the plastic matress, it could very easily have been a seriously dangerous suffocation situation had I not been in the room to roll her over. I left the bed in my friend's trash the next morning. I will never buy another sleeping bag attached to an air mattress. At least if they are separate the worst that can happen is she can roll off of it.
