The Dora the Explorer Dora Cell Phone Knows Your Name is a wonderful product.  My daughter is two and received one for her birthday.  She plays with it everyday.  The phone has a USB port in the bottom that you hook to your computer. The easy to follow instructions with pictures makes it easy to program your phone.  There are literally tens of thousands of names.  You can even try out different spelling and accents so your phone REALLY says your child's name in the way that you intended.  I enjoyed listening to all the names available.  Fisher price makes the phone so it is definately durable and will withstand being dropped, kicked and played with.  It wipes clean easily.  The phone has several phrases and has five ringtones. The numbers, when pushed, press at once. For example, press one and the phone says 123; press 4 and it says 456.  Perhaps my favorite feature of the phone is the automatic shut off. If the phone is idle for 15 seconds it will shut off. Lastly, the phone is reprogrammable also.  You can change the name or settings at anytime, just by hooking up the phone and visiting the website.
