Donovan's Reef Reviews

Movie "Donovan's Reef"  Star's John Wayne, Lee Marvin and others.  I remember going to this movie when it first came out.  I own this movie and watch often.  It has John Wayne playing the lead with undertones of romantic attraction much like he had with Maureen O'hara in "Gentle Man" and "Big Jake" and "McClintuk".  Completing enjoying.  Has reference to WWII but shows a forgiveness's and a healing post wartime.  Good show to watch with kids.  Enough action to be entertaining and enough romance to be romantic and enough comedy to laugh right out loud.  Definitely a John Wayne Fan.

I have always loved watching John Wayne movies.  This one is in the top two of my faves.  I even like watching his war movies (well most of them).  John Wayne comedies are always fun to watch and make the day better.  One warning, if you are an extreme woman's rights activist, never watch John Wayne, you will be very upset.  If you can just remember when it was made, just suspend your opinions, you will have fun.
