Donald J. Pliner shoes Review

Believe It:  Your can wear amazing high heels AND be comfortable
My dad always told me never to scrimp on a mattress, the chair at my desk, or shoes.  I confess, the older I've gotten, the more I see his wisdom, but I've never really allowed myself the luxury of the world's great shoes.   UNTIL NOW.

A recent foray to the luxe Aventura Mall in Miami brought me to the Donald J. Pliner boutique.  It was amazingly packed, with caterers handing out hors d'oeuvres and bottled water.  THe sales people were dressed to the nines.  All of which seemed amazing.  Then the most amazing thing happened.  Donald and his wife, daughter and little dog walked in the door.  The day was set aside as a special event, to raise money for a charity. 

As soon as I saw Donald signing shoes, I became more than motivated to find the perfect pair.  And that was so easy!   While the walls were lined with beautiful, unique shoes that Carrie Bradshaw would kill to wear, what I didn't know was that Donald's shoes are wildly comfortable!  What a concept - beautiful shoes that FEEL good, even the high heels!

I am a high-heel nut, always wanting to look taller.  I love heels.   Donald had a pair made of cork that felt like gloves on my feet. So I paid $295, got them signed by the designer - who was GRACIOUS and SEXY by the way - and I have worn them numerous times since. They are soooo comfortable, with four inch heels?  Donald, I love you!  I will be wearing your shoes from here on out.  Why buy $100 shoes that don't feel great, and won't last long, when I can invest in yours?   Yours will last for decades, they're so well made.  So $300 isn't that much after all...

The Bottom Line:  Libby LOVES Them!
