I really enjoyed reading this book. I usually get bored with non-fiction because many non-fiction authors try to sound like fabulous writers, and if they'd keep it simple, the reading would be far more enjoyable. — This book does a great job of keeping it real, interesting, and not too wordy. — Exactly as the author described I wanted to hear more about heaven... It made me homesick for a place I've never been. I could feel myself there, I could see the glory, feel the supernatural reality of heaven. — The book goes on to describe in painful detail Don's struggle. I feel…

Don Piper describes his miraculous journey from being dead for 90 minutes after his car accident to the present. If anyone doubts the hereafter, this is an excellent book to read as he describes, somewhat, his visit to Heaven. I would like to read more details of his experience in Heaven--who he saw other than some family members, etc. However, he goes into great detail to describe the agony of his extensive recovery from his numerous injuries. When I was given this book to read, I never thought it would grasp my attention like it did. The book can be looked at in two different ways. It is a very interesting book and recommend everyone shouls read it. —…

I have not read a book from cover to cover in a long time. When I was younger I read all the time. I read this book in two days. Reading the chapters that covered his time in heaven twice, and then once to my husband! — Makes you feel reassured that if you are a Christian, death is going to be all right! You do not have to worry about leaving this beautiful planet, because this planet is just a fraction of what God is capable of doing. Using both the senses of sight and hearing we will be in such a joyful state, our spirits will sing! — Also, Don is pushing through…
