A treat for the senses, Domaine Carneros is an excellent value.
budget conscious, red wine lover, not rich, like to entertain at home, a Zin fan, enjoy a good time, fan of sparkling wine, a wine drinker

As someone who's birthday falls on New Year's Eve, I've tried my fair share of sparkling wines.  When I was visiting San Francisco last fall, I decided to spend the day in the wine country.  While at the first stop, I had the great fortune to meet a lovely local couple who were taking friends on a tasting day.  They recommended we visit Domaine Carneros and recommended we taste the Pinot Noir and the Brut.  Taking their advice, we arrived and settled on the gorgeous patio overlooking the vineyards.  We ordered various flights and when the first bubbles began playing with my nose, I knew I... read full review »
