There are over a dozen people whose experience with this company has been as bad or worse than mine. I don't think I've seen this many 1-star reviews for any product or service I've every bought in my entire life. UHG.

I made such a mistake going with these guys, and now I feel totally trapped. Domain Direct is worse than any email service I could ever imagine, and I cannot seem to switch away from them. I want to leave them and take my business anywhere else, but they seem to sabotage every effort to transfer my domain out of their control and place it with another registrar. I have got to assume that what they are doing borders on illegal, but I just cannot think of what to do short of involving a lawyer. How could any company be so unscrupulous and so horrendously bad and still stay in business?! I feel like I have fallen into their trap, and I feel just sick about it. BE AFRAID - BE VERY AFRAID!

I disagree - I think Godaddy.com has much better customer service and you can search on-line for coupons codes and specials, to make it MORE affordable.

Their customer service is also much better!

I just got a domain too. It is confusing. So many choices. Glad you shared one here.
