Dollar Tree Brand Pregnancy Test Review

I purchased a pregnancy test that cost about $7.00 with my first pregnancy. Yep, it confirmed that I was truly pregnant, but I was disheartened to learn that I could have bought almost an identical product for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree. I used Dollar Tree pregnancy tests with later pregnancies and suspected pregnancies, and I found the tests to be accurate, and the box indicates that it is over 99% accurate. When I was pregnant, the the test revealed two lines. When I was not pregnant, only one line appeared.

• This type of pregnancy test cannot determine if you are pregnant immediately after conception. Results will be more accurate after the first missed period. If checking before that time, hormone levels may be too low and could result in a false negative result.
• The first morning urine is the most concentrated, but if you are in a hurry, you might want to have a paper cup ready in the bathroom. This kit contains a dropper that you use to transfer a small amount of urine to the test area.
• Test results appear in about one to three minutes.
• Results of the test can last a lifetime.

My Viewpoint:

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes you pay too much for a product that you could have gotten for much less. I'm glad I discovered New Choice Pregnancy Test at the Dollar Tree. These $1 pregnancy tests are fairly easy to use, accurate with quick results, and fit a tight budget much better than the more expensive brands. The only drawbacks that I see are that you need to use a cup and dropper and you might get a false negative if checking earlier than the packaging recommends.
