I rented a car from Dollar over the holidays. Let me tell you. I don't know if I would ever rent from there again. I know that the rental car business is a give and take relationship. You TAKE my reservation, and you GIVE me the car I reserved! I rented a mid-size car from there online, but when I got to the airport counter, rather than doing me the courtesy of a lip service apology, and letting me know that they were out of that kind of car, they immediately proceeded to upsell me on the next size car, not TELLING me why they were doing that. We agreed on a car, then went over to the actual lot where the cars are. They fucking had the mid-size. So we eventually got what we asked for. This whole thing could have been avoided with a little communication. So.....that is why I probably won't be renting through Dollar again.
