Dollar Rent A Car Review

I rented a 4x4 truck in Panama and found out that not only is there a loop hole in the coverage policy, but they can truly gouge you.  The car got stuck on a muddy road and Dollar charged me to tow the truck back to town...4 times!  The first three were unsuccessful; including one truck that broke down requiring repairs...they charged me for the repairs!  I appealed to Dollar in the US and they said "Oh well."

I checked with other car rental agencies in Panama and they said I would have only been charged for the last successful tow...sensible.

Don't rent from Dollar.
