I love to buy fresh fruit at the store, and Dole pineapples have never let me down.  This is the perfect fruit for summertime refreshment, but it is great to have anytime it is in season.  The only bad part about this fruit is all the work you have to go into coring it to get to the delicious fruit inside.  Each piece of pineapple is so high in flavor, you will swear that it was just picked moments ago.  What makes this fruit high quality is that you can smell the sweetness of the fruit before you even peel it.  The pineapple has a little tart flavor and just the right amount of sweet and soft texture.  Each bite is firm on the outside and soft and flavorful inside.  This fruit is perfect to snack on to quench your fruit craving and it is perfect in recipes.  It is great grilled, and makes an amazing upside down cake.  This is the perfect taste of the tropics with a sweet flavor.
