Dole Pineapple in any form packed in its own juice is a little better for you than the same product packed in syrup. Neither form of canned pineapple contains any fat. The syrup pack contains 70 calories, 24 total carbs, and 22 grams sugar per half-cup serving while the juice packed fruit contains 60 calories, 15 total carbs, and only 13 grams sugar.
