It's a very cute premise, but it's not perfect.

Who could resist seeing their dog pick this smile up in their mouth and run around with it? Adorable, right? Well, it would be if it ever happened.

My dog, at least, has not once picked it up by the correct spot in order to give her the rubber dog lips smile. When she does play with it (which is few and far between since she really only likes squeaky toys) she just gnaws on the end or the nose.

So, it's a worthwhile chew toy, as it's one of the few she hasn't destroyed...but your mileage may vary if you're buying this to get some cute pics of your dog with rubber lips.

No, the smile on the toy is always there. But the dog is supposed to pick it up by the knob on the back, so it looks like the dog has a big grin. But of course my dog never did that!

So when the dog bites the toy, the thing smiles? LOL. I doubt my dog would be too into this toy but it is kind of cute.
