* Bright golden beer; thick frothy beige head

* Inviting melange of piquant, spicy hop aroma and background of caramel malt with toasty notes

* Semi-dry malt flavor offers hints of caramel and citrus. Firm hop bitterness registers early in midtaste

* Finish is surprisingly even-handed; malt flavor shows through hop flavor and bitterness

* Medium bodied

Synhopsis:

I quite enjoyed this beer, but I have to say that it didn't live up to the hype (which, of course, is not the beer's fault). It was quite tasty and enjoyable and it's not as one-dimensional as I was expecting.

The Dogfish 60-second is definitely in my top three favorite beers (along with Smuttynose Shoals and Frye's Leap). It has a great flavor, nice and thick. However, with its rise in popularity the price has likewise risen to ridiculous heights. I love good beer, but paying nearly 10 bucks a rack is excessive!
