    Helping a dog that has no where to go, Saving a dog's life is the greatest, seeing the look in their eyes, The love you can share with them

There is nothing like the reward of a rescue. The loyalty of a rescue goes above and beyond, because they know what life was like before they entered their lives. It gives you a sense of pride knowing that you were part of the solution.  Before you rescue, know and understand the breed or mix of breed in which you are adopting.  The better you match the character and personality of the dog, the happier you will be with less challenges.
