Pros

Dogs need Love and Support., Giving a creature a chance at life, Saving a dog's life is the greatest, Helping a dog that has no where to go, The love you can share with them, seeing the look in their eyes, Volunteering there is very rewarding, Being part of the solution

Cons

Dealing with idiots, Not having enough money, Not having enough room, also., Can't save them all

I volunteer with an animal rescue group that works out of the county animal shelter. If people would spay/neuter and be responsible we wouldn't need shelters and the number of animals euthanized would drop dramatically. We save as many dogs as possible but can't save them all because there is no where for them to go. As a result, some very adoptable dogs are euthanized. I is heartbreaking.
