Pros

    Dogs need Love and Support., Can find purebreed rescues online, Giving a creature a chance at life, Saving a dog's life is the greatest, Helping a dog that has no where to go, The love you can share with them, seeing the look in their eyes, Volunteering there is very rewarding, Being part of the solution

Cons
    Letting fosters go can break your heart, Not having enough money, Not having enough room, also., Cumberson adoption rules, a lot of not dog friendly places, Can't save them all

As soon as you think you want to get a dog, please look at your local animal shelters and rescue organizations. Adopting instead of purchasing an animal will help with animal population control, encourage the humane treatment of animals, most likely will save you money in the short term and long term because you're helping to take the burden of animal control off of your community. My adopted dog is the best dog I've ever known (I've known a lot of dogs) and we started fostering dogs as well. Please consider adoption for your new best friend!
