Pros

Saving a dog's life is the greatest, seeing the look in their eyes, The love you can share with them, Helping a dog that has no where to go

Cons

Not having enough room, also., a lot of not dog friendly places, Cumberson adoption rules, difficult if you need a pure bred dog

i got my german shepard- rotwiller mix from the animal shelter in the town where i live. they let you take your time in choosing a pet that is right for you. they let it out of the cage and let you talk it for a walk with their personal. my only problem was that after i signed all of the paper work i couldn't take him home right away. they send the dog to be fixed if their not already. i had to wait two days before i could bring home my new dog. you also don't know what their backgtround is , who their perious owner was before you, and the enviroment they grew up in. this all determines thier behavior. but the most rewarding part of adpting a pet for the animal shelter is knowing you have saved an animals life and given it a better one than it probably had preiously. the animal somehow knows this and is greatful and let's you know that in it's own way.
