I HAVE A CHIHUAHA AND HE IS THE HARDEST DOG TO TRAIN. HE BITES AND GROWLS AT EVERYONE. THEY ARE CUTE BUT TOO MUCH WORK. THEY ARE VERY DEMANDING DOGS. WELL AT LEAST MINE IS. THEY SHED ALOT OF HAIR, AND IT GETS ALL OVER YOUR HOME. MY CHIHUAHA IS NOT A VERY SMALL ONE EITHER. HE WEIGHS ABOUT 9 LBS....

Chihuahua's are the best little things money can buy. I have owned several in my lifetime and never had a desire to choose any dog other than a Chihuahua. Blossom was my favorite of them all. She was a baby when I brought her home from a AKC breeder. She was very smart. Always tagged along beside me. I would go pick the kids up from school and she would go along with me. The kids adored her too. Needless to say,I wish she was still alive,but unfortunately she passed away a few years ago. She lived to be 17 years old. She became blind the last year of her life. Chihuahua's are one of the most loyal breeds on Earth. I have owned a total of 4 chihuahua's and each of them had their own personality! I would not highly recommend this breed with children unless you got the dog as a puppy. Otherwise, great companion!
