I have had a variety of dogs in my life. But, I have got to say hands down. That the breed Rat-Terriers is by far the best. They are a small animal. They love to ride in cars. They are very loyal. And are very protective. They are very smart. They are also short haired. So in the winter they do need a sweater or a coat. Mine loves to wear clothes. She is very loyal to me and her daddy. My "brother" is a rat terrier!  My mom adopted her rat terrier when he was two years old.  He was, unfortunately neglected and abused by his former owner, but he is the sweetest guy ever!  He loves to cuddle - he thinks he is a lap dog!  He stays very calm, lets my daughter climb all over him and does not harm a hair on her head.  He has a little "sister" who is a miniature pinscher, she likes to attack him and chew on his ankles and nose and pesters him to pieces but he does not harm her at all.  I would not hesitate to bring a rat terrier into my own… read full review »

The rat terrier could be one of the best breeds. Intensely devoted and loyal the rat loves to be near its owner at all times.
