I have had a variety of dogs in my life. But, I have got to say hands down. That the breed Rat-Terriers is by far the best. They are a small animal. They love to ride in cars. They are very loyal. And are very protective. They are very smart. They are also short haired. So in the winter they do need a sweater or a coat. Mine loves to wear clothes. She is very loyal to me and her daddy. I will not have another breed. They do look like Jack Russell's. But, their ears stand up. Where a Jack's ears does not.

You can not go wrong with this breed. My little girl is the most loving little dog I have ever...

I have a wonderful doggie named Mabel who is such a good dog.  She's playful, intelligent, loyal, independent, and has a distinct personality.  She's very loving and enjoys kisses.  And she's a cutie!!  These dogs are not widely known but they should be.

The Rat Terrier is the perfect breed. "Vito" is a joy to have in our home.  He is protective of his family  members, but I can easily take him to another home and he can just "hang out " with other dogs.  He's fun loving, sweet and such a good buddy . He is always with me in the house , but not in an annoying way.  He just sits or stands by my side.  I could go on and on about him.  I am surprised that "rat terriers" are not more well known as they truly are the perfect breed.

The rat terrier could be one of the best breeds. Intensely devoted and loyal the rat loves to be near its owner at all times. He is quick and smart and easy to train. the rat is also a passable guard dog, barking at strangers and watching closely who comes up to the owner.
The rat has short hair and is easy to groom. The rat loves to love, adoring cuddling and kisses. Easy with children and knows how to guard its teeth. The perfect family dog

I have a 5 year old Rat Terrier.  She is so smart, loyal & sweet.  Very hyper, loves to play & a great friend. Rat Terriers get along great with kids & other pets. They are very easy to care for. If you are looking for a dog this is a great breed.

My "brother" is a rat terrier!  My mom adopted her rat terrier when he was two years old.  He was, unfortunately neglected and abused by his former owner, but he is the sweetest guy ever!  He loves to cuddle - he thinks he is a lap dog!  He stays very calm, lets my daughter climb all over him and does not harm a hair on her head.  He has a little "sister" who is a miniature pinscher, she likes to attack him and chew on his ankles and nose and pesters him to pieces but he does not harm her at all.  I would not hesitate to bring a rat terrier into my own home!
