Dog Breed Rat-Terrier —

I have a 5 year old Rat Terrier. She is so smart, loyal & sweet. Very hyper, loves to play & a great friend. Rat Terriers get along great with kids & other pets. They are very easy to care for. If you are looking for a dog this is a great breed.

I totally agree ! I have had a female rat for the last 7 years...still acts like a pup. I always had large breeds but when I was forced to put my last friend down because of health issues I looked for a smaller dog. After much research I settled on the Rat Terrier. My wife, knowing nothing of the breed, told me "I don't want a dog that chases rats !" Now, it's her little baby still ! My boys were both young when we got this dog and she did great with them. Coco can sleep on the couch all day, or run all day with you, very adaptive to your mood and will curl right up with you at night. I will never have another breed other than a Rat anymore !!
