Dog Breed Jack Russell Terrier Review

I adoped a Jack Russell Terrier about 5 years ago when she was 3 years old.  After reading the reviews about this breed, I was nervous about their temperment.  The rescuer told me to trust her, and it was the best decision I've ever made!  Our Jack Russell, Sandy, is the best dog I've ever had...and I've had alot of dogs throughout my lifetime. 

She's so affectionate and loving!  When I sit down, she's in my lap. If I move to another room, she lays at my feet.  She sleeps at my side...licks my face...cuddles and protects.  She's interactive and loyal.

She's smart and obedient!  When I get dressed to leave the house, Sandy immediately gets in her cage.  When I turn the television off at night, she immediately jumps in bed.  In addition, Sandy was easy to house train.  It seems she lives simply to please me.

She's never aggressive!  I have three daughters and Sandy is great with all three.  She definately has selected me as the one she's bonded with, but Sandy is affectionate and loving with everyone in the house.  The girls loved to be licked and feel comfortable kissing and hugging her.  She is such a gentle-natured dog that we've never seen her aggressive even when she's chewing a bone or eating her food.  Now if you come to the front door, that's another story!  Sandy is very protective of her family!
