So, your thinking of getting a Jack Russell Terrier? Well, let me tell you that they are NOT all alike. I was told by so many people not to get one unless I had a lot of time and energy to put into it. Like I said, not all Jack Russells are alike. As puppies they do seem to have an awful lot of energy, but then, doesn't all puppies? They are very easy to train in some things. They are one of the most intellegent dogs there are. House training get be a bit complecated though. My little one, Bailey, is almost 6 months old, and still doesn't quit get it. I have laid papers at my door, and she does use them if she doesn't get out when she wants. My problem with house training is that she doesn't let me know when she needs to go out. All I can do it look for the signs. Sniffing, circling, those sort of things. They Love of a Jack Russell is AWESOME!!! She is always so happy to see me when I get in the door. Even if I have only been right ourside for a few minutes. I would highly recommend a Jack Russell for anyone who wants more out of life than just sitting around. They sure are GREAT compainions!!
