Mu husband and I rescued four APBT puppies last Summer and had plans on only keeping one of them and finding good homes for the other three. Well, that didn't happen. While getting the babies the necessary vet care and nursing them back to health, we fell deeply in love with them all and could not choose which one to keep so we agreed to keep them all. We have heard the horror stories about multiple pit households, but I know that with the proper upbringing and care, and of couse supervision, an unfortunate incident will not happen. The babies are not quite a year old yet and they are growing up to be such wonderful pits. We already had an adult mixed breed that was a rescue and two all American kitties that were also rescues, but they are fitting in quite remarkably. Everyone has been spayed/neutered so I am sure that helps out as well. They are not at all agressive towards people, and they are very lovable and playful. We do make sure that they are monitored closely because of the fact that people have this fear due to negative media, but we are hoping to change some minds with out "pit crew".
