Dodge Grand Caravan - 2006 Reviews

I love this van.  I have owned it for approximately 9 months and I still enjoy driving it everyday.  This particular model of the Grand Caravan has the stow and go option, which I adore.  It is easy to use, especially after you learn how to do it.  It took me two or three times to get it down, but now it's become easy.  I have used the stow and go feature so many times.  With three kids, I often have to move things around when we travel or if I purchase a larger item.  With the choice of being able to change which seats are up or down, and using other seat compartments for storage, I have...

The stow-and-go seats are life changing!

This van has changed how we get from point a to point B.  With so many seat configurations, you can do anything.  We travel with a 85 pound dog, so it is great to be able to put one of the seats down for the trip, allowing her to stretch out and also be low to the ground in case of an accident.  Then, once we arrive at our destiation, we can leave her in the cottage etc. and take all of our friends out to eat, just by simply flipping up the seat.  It's wonderful.

We bought this vehicle when we had our first children (twins).  It has been priceless.  I love the convenience of the power open/shut doors when my hands are full with kids, diaper bags, groceries, etc.  The stow 'n go feature is the best for traveling with a family as you can configure the seats in many options for traveling (to store extra luggage) and you don't have missing seats once you get somewhere.  The stow 'n go is really easy to use and provides extra storage for toys and miscellaneous items in the car when you aren't storing the seats.

The best thing that happened in the first years of my twins' lives was the purchase of the 2006 Grand Caravan. With three children and a step daughter who eventually came to live with us, the room, the storage was very much needed. I loved everything about it and would have aimed for the 2008, but I got my new favorite instead.

I was raised as a Ford driver. The Grand Caravan opened my heart and mind.
