I love my Durango for several different reasons.  I have the V-8 SLT version, so it's probably not as bad on gas as the hemi.  With the third row seating you can haul around a lot of people.  You can fold all the seats down and haul a buch of stuff as well.  It's tough, dependable and safe.  I was rear ended by a VW jetta, and her whole front end was damaged and I only got a little black mark on my rear bumper.  I feel very safe driving my two kids in this truck, and I don't anticipate getting rid of it any time soon.  The only things I don't like about it are the blind spots, which you will have in any large SUV, and the seats are not as plush as I would like.  My mom's special edition Tahoe has seats that are just plain luxury.  If I had her seats in my Durango the truck would be perfect.
